For I am God who shows glimpses of heaven for your eyes to see.

Like rain refreshing the earth

Or stars in the vast night sky

Like sands on a seashore

Or snow covering all

I give you glimpses of heaven to show you my love

Be still, my child, and listen for my presence

Like a breeze gently whispering

Or a beautiful song

I’m in the joy of laughter

And the coo of a baby

I give you glimpses of heaven so you can hear my love

Be still, my child, rest in me for I am strong

Like blue skies never ending

Or lush greens of a forest

Like endless colors in a rainbow

Or the majesty of a sunset
