Have you ever been all alone, when suddenly you’re venting or yelling out loud? Like stepping on a landmine, some fear or offense builds up until you just explode. Imagine knowing how to win the fights inside our heads!!

Believe it or not, Jesus gave us the secret to defeat this enemy. Remember how, after 40 days in the desert, Jesus answered every temptation by quoting scripture – out loud. Just the action of speaking scripture gave Jesus the enormous power of God’s authority.

It’s like presenting a letter – signed by the mayor – to a city worker. . . Suddenly your words take on huge power and authority.

As soon as you recognize any spiritual battles forming in your mind, say out loud, “Jesus, please help me.”

The name “Jesus” has total authority over Satan and his battle schemes. Over and over the Bible says, “In Jesus’ name.” Demons were cast out in his name. (Mark 16:17-18) Healing occurred in his name. (Acts 3:6). Demons submitted in his name. (Luke 10:17) Salvation comes in his name. (Acts 4:12, Rom. 10:13)

Yes, in his name. Jesus. Demons cast out in Jesus name. Healing occurred in Jesus name. Salvation comes in Jesus name. Jesus! The name of Jesus!

Paul said, “Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Col. 3:17)

No matter what the battle. . . We always have the opportunity to call out his name. He is waiting for you – right now – and he wants to help you win!

Dear Jesus, please help us to have the courage to call your name out loud. Jesus! Your mighty name has all authority in heaven and earth. Jesus, you are God alone.

We call out, Jesus, help me. We call out, Jesus, thank you for your power. We call out, Jesus, give me strength. Jesus! Jesus! We call out your name right now and all day long. Jesus!
